Its activation process requires precise control of the type, amount, treatment temperature, and method of the coupling agent to ensure the formation of a uniform, monomolecular layer coating on the particle surface, avoiding excessive residual coupling agent or incomplete coating. After activation, the powder surface changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic (lipophilic), greatly increasing its affinity with organic systems.
